i didn't mean that. i said he has choice. IIRC, he already has windows in
his home. he can download the linux driver from there and

so all he has to do is to go to a cybercafe or somewhere and d/l the
linux drivers for the model of his usb modem, bring it home burnt onto a
CD or floppy.
What he is going to do? that he has to decide and we are arguing for that?
