Some feedback:

1. Why FOSS for education?

The first reason should be 'freedom'. Cost is secondary. The first
reason always registers in peoples' mind, strongly, compared to the
other points. So, it is important.

3. The Most Popular FOSS Programs

Statements with "#1" are quite debatable. You need to give some
statistics, or just mention as popular. That is good enough.

4. Put a license in the documentation that mentions how this
documentation can be distributed/re-used.

5. Avoid giving private/college data in your screenshots. Use dummy data.

It is ok to mention it, but, don't give their internal contact details
(unless you have permission from them).

6. For some pictures that you have used or copied from some website
(like Linus Torvalds, RMS), give source web link as to from where you
have taken it from.

The desktop screenshots are yours, so they are ok.

Overall, you have provided good coverage of available applications.

On a side note, your screenshots show that you have logged to X as
root user. Do you use your desktop like that?
