well,
gpg --gen-key
helped me to generate a key with, name, email-id, comment & pass phrase..
exported it to .bashrc of home directory.. encrypted a sample document sent,
received a reply.. decrepted.. & read that too..
added it to kmail etc.,
here are the details,
pub 1024D/D7C88B27 2006-09-06 Sri Ramadas M (Amachu is my nick name)

all that i did was in a pc which is no more... lost them..
now am in another PC, will i be able to get back it or regenerate it.. if
having private key can do it, how about to achieve it?
to be used in my kmail now? the same key...
am i missing something fundamentally on gpg? or making some silly question?
please explain..
