[Ilugc] virus in usb

readable by windows. The stick has virus on it - how does one reformat it to
remove the virus and at the same time ensure that it is both writeable by
linux and readable by windows?

I tried the following some time back, on my friend's pen drive, who too was
an windows user, I hope it would help you to in removing virus and
accessible by windows.
fdisk /dev/sda
mkfs -t vfat /dev/sda1
