With the last two updates of JAWS 10, I have seen a change in my scripts for my Verizon program. When I move through the list view with up and down arrows, I hear a system beep! The same scripts in JAWS 9 do not make that noise. I have asked FS to look into this, but I have not heard back yet. In the last two weeks I think I have seen similar things happening in other applications. I was checking out Snapshot, a disk image backup program from drivesnapshot.de. It has a list view for selecting the drive to back up that beeps in JAWS 10 but not in JAWS 9. Most notably, I have noticed extra system beeps in the FSDN help file as well! I have always heard a beep when I type in a keyword to search and press Enter. But now in JAWS 10 I hear beeps as I arrow up and down in the list of search results as well! This is the list that I land on after typing in a keyword, pressing Enter, and then hitting Tab twice. Again, this only happens to me in JAWS 10, not JAWS 9. Can someone verify if this is truly a change in JAWS 10? If no one else has this problem, is there a JAWS setting that I might have screwed up? .
