I'm not familiar with those applications, but I wonder if you're running into autoforms mode somehow. If they're using a web browser like front end then the virtual cursor may be in effect and autoforms may be in play. I'm not running JFW 10 on this system, but you might want to try turning that off in your JFW settings and see if that changes your JFW behavior.
