I've often wondered exactly the same Léonnie. Certainly all scripters I've
come across both on here, and indeed throughout my involvement with
computers, are JFW users themselves...either partially, or totally blind. I
guess this isn't down to the fact its easier for a VI programmer to learn,
rather there's more of a reason for learning it. Their goals could either
be
personal, trying to assist other users of the product, or perhaps a bit of
both. Not wanting to get off-topic, but I would imagine the same situation
exists with writing Map and Set files. Hopefully someone else could offer
further input.

Cheers,

Mark

Subject: [jawsscripts] Scripting capabilities.

Evening,

An interesting question came up today at work. Would it be
easier to
teach a sighted programmer to use Jaws, or a Jaws user with some technical
leanings to programme? The programming in question would of course be Jaws
scripting.

I'd be interested to hear people's thoughts on this. I'd also
like
to know if there are any sighted Jaws scripters out there? I presume that
FS
probably employ some, but don't know with any certainty.

Regards,
Léonie.
