Hi All,
I went to Clapp this morning and fortunately saw no mosquitoes! The sunflower
patch in the wildflower garden was very busy with warblers. I was able to
identify Yellow, Wilson’s, and Orange-crowned warblers and even one Tennessee
Warbler. I was unable to find Brad’s “large billed” flycatcher, but I did see
a Least Flycatcher in the same area. The Great Crested Flycatcher was also
present. I had a vireo I decided was a Bell’s, though I tried to make it into
a Hutton’s Vireo. And I saw my first fall Cedar Waxwing. Overall it was a
good morning. Below is my eBird posting with photos.
