To answer Mike, Aereo claims only to be providing a personal antenna (tuner?)
that duplicates what you could receive via an antenna in your local market.

And Kon is right, the situation grows more ludicrous by the day. Broadcasting
is caught between a rock and a competitive place. They are granted virtually
free use of spectrum, a protected market, even on MVPD systems, and the ability
to collect subscriber fees from the MVPDs. And still they are losing their
audience.

Would have been interesting if Obama had forced all broadcasters to shut down
because they are occupying Federal "property."

Clearly the 4th estate is still critically important to the politicians.

Craig
