Seems to me that the case for 720p is obvious enough, anytime you have any 
reason to want to share the channel with other content. The reason for 1080i is 
passed. HD cameras now provide progressive output, so why bother transmitting 
1080i?

Forget about that old debate. Repurpose this article, instead, to educate the 
FCC into why sharing spectrum between two broadcasters fairly effectively 
prevents them from doing M/H service. Evidently, the FCC has missed this 
concept.
