Craig! You are hopelessly confused and clueless! And this happens every time
you dig in with your nonsensical arguing.
What I told you is that the problem described, i.e. problems related to HBO
streaming and authentication, were **NOT** problems having to do with ISP nets
being congested. I said the problem was related to the CDN, not to the ISP or
general Internet.
And I said this is good news, and suggests also why OTA broadcasters of today
might have a meaningful role to play on the Intetrnet. In fact, we saw
something similar with Sling TV servers, not long ago. Also good news. The
problem is limited, in other words.
Not that it would matter on your DSL service which does not share
bandwidth.
More nonsense. DSL is only used in the final drop from the CO, or even closer
to the home than the CO. Upstream of that, bandwidth is shared. Besides which,
the fact that ADSL limits the amount of bandwidth the customer uses is only to
the benefit of other broadband users, not to their detriment.
You really need to read more carefully, and especially inform yourself before
arguing.
