Depends entirely on how far you sit. I can see the "full benefits" of
"HD images" in my 18" computer display, for example.

The way I've always viewed this is that all braodcasting is trending to
HDTV, even if all displays are not equally capable of giving the "full
benefits." Even 20" sets these days are HD sets, and wide screen, unlike
a few years ago.

By the way: if the AVERAGE set sold these days is 32", this means that
half the sets are BIGGER than 32". Which very soon gets you in the
category of being an "HDTV experience," as you like to call it.
Certainly, a 37" set qualifies, in many viewing rooms.

So there you have it. Most new TVs sold are HDTVs. More than half (58%)
of the HD sets sold are being used for HD content now. Half the new sets
sold are certainly big enough even for your "HDTV experience." I see an
obvious trend here, and it's huge.
