You will need a zip code ... use mine, for example, 61801. We get lots of channels, say 250 regular ones and perhaps 60 foreign language ones. This counts subscription (i.e. HBO) and pay per view but not music only. There are perhaps 140 to 180 regular channels, the upper level for sure if you count Spanish as non-foreign (which most are not ... they are made for the US or Mexico.) And many of these are high quality. That is, high quality in the eye of the beholder. My favorite channels are the Food Network (home of Iron Chef America, my favorite show) and Speed Network (motor racing of all sorts.) I find the "Discovery Channel" type channels of variable interest, especially since many are "almost all repeats". I don't find HGTV (Homes and GRadens) for example particularly interesting, but it has a following as rabid and loyal as those of Iron Chef America. There are vast offerings directed at children, and not so vast (read: scarce and poor quality) directed at "adults" (i.e. semi-porn).
