I am in favour of this change - it is clearly in keeping with Joe's current
vision of the world.
Also, I hate footnotes :) any excuse to take out the carving knife!

Yeah, that's definitely worth bearing in mind.
It does seem to be in harmony with the indications in the rules that the
NO will be Level 12 (Kai Supreme Master) when playing Book 32, though.
As it stands in the PA editions, in Book 32 you will be a Kai Supreme
Master but only have mastered 15/16 Disciplines. This change rectifies
the discrepancy, and I seem to remember that Books 31/32 were supposed
to be a bit like Book 5 (1 adventure in 2 halves), though I can't find a
quote to hand right now. If so, maybe the rules are that you won't pick
a new (the final!) Discipline between Books 31 and 32.
