I wouldn't ordinarily interrupt a comment period asking you to divert
your attention, but you'll see why momentarily.
Brian Williams' family contacted us recently with the sad news that he
passed away unexpectedly on October 4. I have passed along our sincere
condolences to his family. Please do not share this news beyond this
list.
I've made a memorial page on the website. Before we make the public
announcement (probably to coincide with our publication of Rune War on
Thursday), please offer suggestions on how to improve the memorial.

Specifically, I have two concerns:
1) I thought the illustration of the scribe appropriate but want to be
sensitive to the fact that it features a skull. I will be sharing this
with his family. Is the skull too much or am I being hypersensitive?
Is there a better illustration?
2) Would it be worthwhile to collect individual messages from fans to
post to the website on a separate page?
