Thanks Flor.
Forgive me, I'm starting from scratch, what's or what do I do to get the
Audible download manager?

Hi Roslyn,
You can use Windows Media Player on your PC. For your PC, you’ll need to use
the Audiible Download Manager to download any books. (If you have any portable
player, such as a Victor Reader Stream or a PlexTalk Pocket, they are also
supported by Audible Download Manager on your PC, through which you link with
them. Audible then first sets up folders on such supported portable devices.)
The iPhone, or even Amazon’s own Alexa, however, are much better (more easily
accessible) options for us than its clunky PC interface.

Hi Tim and Martin,
Thanks very much for your help. I'm starting from scratch here. I don't
have or am not familiar with iTunes.

Hi Roslyn,
You can listen to audible books on your pc, but to be honest the app is a
far nicer experience.
Also you can then listen to books anywhere regardless of whether you have
an Internet connection.
On the pc you can use iTunes to play the book, and I think you also need
to install a separate audible download manager.
You can also stream the book directly from the audible website by going to
your library and hitting play button for the book you want to listen to.
Im not sure how accessible the streaming player is i.e. how easy is it
to move back and forth in the audio, change to a different chapter etc and we
all know how unpleasant iTunes can be to use.
If you are running Windows 10 then I think there is an audible app for
Windows 10 but again I dont know how accessible it is.
Hope this helps.
Tim

Hi List,
Happy New Year.
Sorry could anybody tell me if Audible, for listening to books on, is
accessible via the computer or just a smart phone?
Thanks.
