Hi all, Other options for fere books include apps such as: 1. librivox. 2. Gutenberg 3. ambling (lite & paid) 4. audiobooks (which I haven't had time to use yet). With librivox and guenberg, at least, the quality of the reading is unpredictable; sometimes, the reading is more of a performance (including Shakespeare's sonnets which are transformed by the reader's performance and an entertaining lengthy person interpretation of each sonnet; it soon transpires that this reader is making the recording as a result of a Community Service order in the American courts: still excellent and worth a listen; a whole new take on Shakespeare, with the entire original texts in there somewhere - albeit, in a strong New Jersey accent). Reading the Grimms' Fairytales on Gutenberg, 3 our ot the 62 were incomplete. All worth investigating, though, Robbie On Thu, Jan 24, 2013 at 10:27 PM, Noreen Meagher <noreenmeagher@xxxxxxxxxx>wrote: > Ciaran, Dónal, Cearbhall & Tim, thanks to all for response & have just > downloaded IBooks & next searching for books & hopefully I will have > holiday > reading on my iphone.
