Yes, it's good to see that there is development ongoing with the "Breeze",
and that you can now make your own routes on it. (Just been reading a
little bit about it in the summer 2008 Humanware newsletter. There are a
few podcasts featuring the Trekker Breeze on the T & T Consultancy -
www.tandt-consultancy.com/ Web site (where it is misspelled "Trecker
Breeze" - for a JAWS find.) One of these is a walk using the Trekker breeze
during sight Village 2008. Another is the Humanware presentation which, I
think, was given by Alan Davis. (There will be representatives from both of
the above companies present at UCC on Saturday next, he being one, linkin-in
nicely.) A Nice thing about the Breeze is that it's an all-in-one system,
with the satellite receiver built-in, so no Bluetooth 'pairing' with an
external device is necessary. As far as we are concerned, it has maps of
all of britain and Ireland, and, if you're going abroad, you can buy a map
for that country on an SD card from humanware.

hi flor

I stand to be corrected but I am nearly sure the trekker breeze can do
complex routes. I think what ye are talking about is a new option on the
trekker breeze is that you can walk a route with a sighted person and design
your own route so you can walk it on your own after. I personally would
find this a good resource as the normal trekker wont allow this feature and
some times know were I am going and see the trekker bringing me around a
longer route. but as I say I stand to be corrected. I will get clarification
on this on Monday from tom Burton who is the technical support in humanware.

regards
Vincent
