Humanwares site doesn't mention it on the product page, but it refers to "maps installed on the sd card" in the FAQ. This link seems to suggest that the unit does come with maps for the UK and Ireland: http://www.emptech.info/product_details.php?ID=1869 And also I remember listening to a demonstration of the unit from site village which said that it comes with maps. If it does, I can't understand why they don't advertise this fact more. Might be something to do with the fact that maps cost extra (just guessing here).
