just to clear this issue up. I have a normal trekker and it did come with maps of Ireland England, Scotland and Wales. I am sure that the trekker breeze comes with maps to. if you want any other maps you have to purchase them. hope this helps.

Did a bit of digging on this one and there seems to be conflicting views
out there as to whether or not this gadget comes with maps or not.

Humanwares site doesn't mention it on the product page, but it refers to
"maps installed on the sd card" in the FAQ.

This link seems to suggest that the unit does come with maps for the UK
and Ireland:

And also I remember listening to a demonstration of the unit from site
village which said that it comes with maps.

If it does, I can't understand why they don't advertise this fact more.
Might be something to do with the fact that maps cost extra (just
guessing here).

I may be wrong and am prepared to be corrected, but my understanding is
you can only travel routes which you have already plotted;  What's the
point of that?
