Hi all,

Jim I agree with you about ebooks.

However there is a growing amount of free online material.

For example, The Wikipedia encyclopedia is now excellent and appears to me
to be fully accessible and simple to search with Google. They have also
started free online textbooks at www.wikibooks.orb.

If anyone has had any success with Adobe or Microsoft ebooks could they
respond to this list? I personally have not had success with them and have
given up on MS and Adobe ebooks.

By contrast the free online content seems to be getting better and better.

What do other VICS members think?

Ronan
