Oh right! Didn't know you were a J2'er. I've been told they should be
compatible but I've never tried J2. Different session managers for the
same protocol, different session manager protocols, JACK1/2, LV2/DSSI,

Seriously, there's only one protocol for jack session support, and both
jack1 and jack2 deal with that one protocol. With it working fine for me,
just what's happening on your install is puzzling, and a bit of a worry.
So where to start in trying to figure it out?


Got me. What distro do you use Cal? Is there no-one else running jack1
svn on this list who'd be up for giving this a go (create a pyjacksm
session w/ yoshimi and A3 or qtractor maybe) so we can rule out it
being a 'just me' oddity? I've got the nasty feeling we have no other
takers yet.

Suppose I could try asking in #ardour and #lad too..
