Well, desirable, it would be a valuable addition. Some effects are an
intrinsical part of the sound of certain intrument patches and it would
be cool to be able to tweak those in real-time. And a lot effects
contain elements that are also part of the different engines but that
are not controlable via MIDI, like the LFO related stuff. Take my
Dubstep instrument patch, it's impossible to make it wobble, but with
the LFO freq setting of the Phaser effect for instance it's possible.
