When the subject of jack ports for each part came up recently, my first
thoughts
were "moderately complex, but not all that difficult". I was wrong. The basic
mechanics aren't all that difficult, but the complexity of getting it all to
work in a logically functional manner makes it a seriously difficult
undertaking -
not for me I'm afraid.
If I have 2 instances of yoshimi connected to A3 and stored via
pyjacksm, when I restore the session only the JACK MIDI connection to
the first instance gets restored. JACK audio connections and
instrument selection get restored for both however. How about you Al?
Not a whole lot of experimenting happening here, it's not been a good couple
of
weeks.
