Sorry Cal!

I started my happy dance a little too early as it would seem there is
at least one JS snag remaining in 0.060pre8 and thats when using
multiple instances of yosh- at least on my setup. I know one yosh
instance can handle multiple parts/ channels but that way you only
have one set of JACK outputs too, hence my need for multiple
instances.

When the subject of jack ports for each part came up recently, my first
thoughts
were "moderately complex, but not all that difficult". I was wrong. The basic
mechanics aren't all that difficult, but the complexity of getting it all to
work in a logically functional manner makes it a seriously difficult
undertaking -
not for me I'm afraid.

I'm not requesting jack outputs per part but one set of jack audio
outputs per yoshimi process. This works fine for me with same config +
multiple bristol processes.

If I have 2 instances of yoshimi connected to A3 and stored via
pyjacksm, when I restore the session only the JACK MIDI connection to
the first instance gets restored. JACK audio connections and
instrument selection get restored for both however. How about you Al?

Not a whole lot of experimenting happening here, it's not been a good couple
of
weeks.

Sorry to hear that Cal. Your wellbeing must always come before our
fave Linux softsynth- I understand that.

Take it easy!

Dan
