Hi list!

Well I'm surprised and confused! Each and every yoshimi instance should
have it's own jack ports. If that's not what's happening, then things
have gone seriously wrong. I mean seriously.

Actually, things may be fine after all!

Hope so.

Me too

Dunno if you changed anything in 0.060 final (not been able to do a
diff) but I've just had a quick trial with multiple yoshimis in a
pyjacksm session under my 32bit opensuse 11.3 install (with JACK1 svn
now) and I got the session loading with all jack midi (and audio)
ports to all (both) instances connected!

Huzzah!!!

I did give it a few goes under my maverick install at work before
posting to this list about the multiple instance JACK MIDI prob so I
dunno what the weak link is in that setup atm. Maybe installing 0.060
final will cure it?

Gonna test more thoroughly now but things look promising! :D

Nothing changed when 0.060-pre8 (or whatever it was) became 0.060. I
just got bored with staring at it & trying to figure out what to do next.

Health wise, the days of me productively hacking on this stuff are pretty
close to over, which leaves me wondering how to resolve what's going on
with the 0.063-preX meanderings.

Well its not as if we haven't been warned but its very sad to hear
nonetheless. I hope you're not in lots of pain and you at least manage
to sleep OK?

Is there any chance you'll get to add in the extra MIDI CC bindings
(via a config file?) before you call it quits or are you just planning
on finishing up the program change stuff for 0.063?

Is there anyone on this list planning to take over when Cal calls it quits?

Sad news for the list indeed!

Dan
