yeah came to mind as past effort to do this engine isolation as a recomposition
basis.
I must say that personnally I like yoshi/zyn's architecture as it is, and I
think it is part of its strength, so, yeah a universal MIDI learn is surely the
best way to go for yoshimi.
I'd like to propose help, but if you look at qmidiarp's midi learn
'implementation' it is not a very universal one, no good code, although it is
nice as work flow for the user. But yeah this is why I never stood up proposing
anything in that way for yoshi :)
