+1 from me, too.

I like the idea of making the engines and effects modular, but I'm not
sure it would fit into Yoshimi's current GUI. Also, don't underestimate
the necessary changes under the hood...

With LV2 plugins on the other hand, you could combine Zyn/Yoshimi's
components with any other LV2 plugin out there. Sure, it wouldn't be
Yoshimi as we know it, but it would open up lots of new possibilities.
It's too bad Nedko seems to have lost interest after zynadd. I'd port
the others myself if only there were more than 24 hours in a day...
