Provided this mostly works (and I think it does), I'm about ready to call it
0.060
and move on. I found the last noted bit that fell off - more a job for
araldite
than superglue. I just hope I've stuck it back on right way up.

It works here in a non-jack-session context, except
the freezes reported by Will and presence of the
interrupt behaviour fixed in 0.062.pre1.
