Barbara, You're not going to want to hear this, but in the summer I bought a telly from Argos purely on price, and to my surprise it turned out to have audio description. It was an Alva flat screen telly and cost me £99 in the sale.

Well the TV I was asking about doesn't have AD after all, even though it was listed in the product info. So it has gone back to Argos. I didn't get another as the descriptions clearly can't be trusted, so the only thing is to go to a shop and ask to see the AD actually working before I buy the telly.Can anyone recommend a specific model with AD? Looking for around 19 inches, LCD, no DVD required.Thanks for all the help.
