| Have you set the ip address on your laptop to be in the range of the
| router? In my experience the router does not allow the setting "obtain ip
| address automatically" The router will probably have a range of 
192.168.0.#
|  or very similar. You need to set the ip on your laptop to be the next in
| the rangeie:
| router ip 192.168.0.1
| Laptop ip 192.168.0.2
|
