Hi Dave. So if I wish to move forwards, so to speak, I'll have to go down the Media Center path, with either JAWS 8 Professional or WindowEyes 6. I know JAWS is a bit of a pain at times and I do feel that I am being ripped off, every time I upgrade to a new version, but WindowEyes looks such a huge learning curve for me. A few weeks ago, I downloaded the latest WE and started playing about with it. The voice was terrible and I could hardly understand it. I do understand that a JAWS keyboard can be used to get you started, but it just seemed a hill too far for me. Perhaps I should look again at the prog and try and find out as much as I can about Windows Media Center. I'd have liked XP Home to remain for a couple of years yet, so I could gradually move on, but if computer stockists have limited numbers of XP Home computers, I will be left behind very quickly. Best wishes.
