Ian – can’t say for certain but I know of no such recommendations and having this morning had a skim through the chapter on PDFs from Web Accessibility: Web Standards and Regulatory Compliance by Thatcher, wadell et al, the chapter in question being written by Andrew Kirkpatrick, Corporate Accessibility Engineering Lead for Adobe, I saw no reference to ‘resolution’ so not seems a reasonable assumption.
