Hi Elliott,

That might be the case, was justreading the customer reviews for that model
on the Amazon and one of the comments was that it did not include an HDMI
socket - mind you the review was from 2009, so it may have been upgraded
later.

The DTR-Z500HD does in fact include an HDMI output; John was refering to the
older DTR-Z500, which doesn't.
