Hi Ibrahin,

This is certainly true. Just because you lose VAT, it's not always a
saving, depending on what the vendor is charging as a markup.

We try to keep prices low, but we add a little for installing and
configuring the screen reader for you. There is no margin on PCs though.

All the best

Steve

Hi Richard.

Well, bless me, if you could actually see that saving reflected in the price

you pay then that would be nice, however I've had systems quoted at 2 or 3
hundred pounds more than if I'd bought the individual components of the
system myself, and yes, that's with the VAT. Just because Sight and Sound
don't charge VAT, doesn't mean you'll actually save money.

All the best, Ibrahim.

S & S certainly don't charge VAT on a PC provided they install the client's
screenreader.

Hi Steve,

Wow! I must admit I haven't looked on their website, but I was looking at
the printed leaflet which must be out of date.

I'll bear that in mind.

All the best,

Thanks,

Brian.
