Even if stuff does go in to spam with gmail one does not need to go to the website. In fact if using a client such as outlook its easy to manage spam and move messages to inbox and label senders as trusted ones without going to the website.

Hi Shaun

I would agree with you. For this reason, I set up a Gmail account, and use
it for my Email list traffic as I don't often have to go into Google to
retrieve anything that has gone straying into my Trash folder on the
website.

The BT thing is a bit of a nightmare, and forcing your Emails to go into
your Inbox is a bit tricky to explain, though I can do it now using JAWS.

Kind regards,

I have ceased using bt email services for that very reason but alas it seems
other providers are following suit,
they call it "protecting your account" i call it unwanted interference.

I have BT as my server at least for the next week. For the last 6 months my
messages, at least most of them including All of the messages from this list
are going into a spam folder on my server. I dont know how to get them into
my inbox and have to ask a sighted person to get them for me. I find this
most annoying. I have spoken to BT but got little help. Can anyone tell me
why this happens and what can I do. If possible could you email me to my
personal email in order to get the message more quickly. I am using Windows
Live mail with jaws13 on an acer laptop. Thanks Fran.
