Yup, nickel, I forgot to mention that the LR-11 TCA's also were nickel, I
once had 16, my last one is available on ebay.

The only thing I could find is this: http://www.spaceuk.org/htp/htp.htm
which says the gamma 301 chambers were formed and brazed nickel tubes
(whether correct or not… dunno), but as for the gamma 8 and 2… we’ll have
to go with Henry’s references.

If it's indeed SS then 347 has the best properties for the job except poor
heart transfer properties.
The F-1 used Inconel X brazed with Nioro, 16 Lbs of gold per TCA.
But nickel is the metal of choice overall, my LR-105's were made of both
the TCA and injector.

Tube-wall construction using stainless of some type...
I say it's nickel, good heat transfer, strength and oxidation resistance.
JBIS paper on the engines specifically says stainless steel, exact flavor
not specified.
