There appears to be some difference in the US and Europe regarding
shipping of peroxide.

Whether it is stabilized industrial grade hydrogen peroxide (60%) or
HTP with a concentration of 85%, I always get it delivered in 30L
plastic canisters in a standard truck at a cost of 2000SEK
(≈233USD) per pallet. The only difference is that the HTP is
delivered on plastic pallets while the industrial grade is always
delivered on wooden pallets. There is also no requirement that the
truck should be empty and only carry the peroxide. All this is
according to ADR (European Agreement Concerning the International
Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road).

I pay 12SEK / kg for industrial grade and 27 SEK / Kg for the HTP.

I've bought peroxide from FMC in the last year. It's shipped in 30
gallon
purpose-built aluminum drums. It just has to be shipped in a truck
with
floors that aren't wood; in our case it came in a normal
refrigerator semi
trailer with aluminum floors. It's not specialized to peroxide
transport.

The shipping is nearly flat rate, as you need an empty truck and
all the
hazmat processes. So it's best to order as much as practical in one
order.
The counterbalance to that is that they charge $15 per day per drum
rental
after the first 30 days, so you also want to ship the drums back
(which can
be done non-hazmat if they are triple rinsed to FMC procedure) as
soon as
they are empty.

Each 30 gal peroxide drum comes with a 55 gallon plastic drum of
deionized
water, which is an important fluid for peroxide operations.

I talked to the peroxide division of FMC a few years ago. I guess
they
sold it and it is now called PeroxyChem. At the time they didn't
regularly
operate their HTP plant so you had to pay to restart the
production line.
Not sure if that is still the case now.

I know some people who have purchased small quantities from
XL-Space
somewhat recently. I don't what his production ability is.

The real kicker with HTP is the shipping. FMC had a special conex
container and a special truck to transport it. Since it isn't a
chemical
that is commonly transported (In that Concentration) there aren't
really
many off the shelf solutions for shipping it. So shipping tends to
cost
about as much as the peroxide if you are buying a large amount,
probably
more than the peroxide if it's a small amount. You could do it
yourself of
course so long as you have a hazmat shipping endorsement for
whatever method
of transportation you are using.

You could always buy your own 150 lb/day plant from XL-space for
$29,600
it looks like. Though I think you might also have to get permits
or other
regulatory things to operate the plant.

Also I cant really think of anyone other than the British, that
have done
a Kero/HTP rocket of that size.
