That's cool that it sounds like they are regularly operating their plant
now. When I said special I meant that it can't be shipped with other items,
and some level of care had to be taken in the selection of the truck.
Special meaning the methods are not standard for a shipping company and
different from shipping normal peroxide.

Peroxide would be out of the question for me personally unless I made it.
As ground transport would be very difficult since Canada is pretty
particular about HazMat crossing their boarders. I would likely have to
ship it by barge. But I have no idea what the shipping rules would be for
that, since I haven't heard of it being done very often. Flat rate shipping
for me would probably be ~$30,000 perhaps more for the first shipment.

I've bought peroxide from FMC in the last year. It's shipped in 30 gallon
purpose-built aluminum drums. It just has to be shipped in a truck with
floors that aren't wood; in our case it came in a normal refrigerator semi
trailer with aluminum floors. It's not specialized to peroxide transport.

The shipping is nearly flat rate, as you need an empty truck and all the
hazmat processes. So it's best to order as much as practical in one order.
The counterbalance to that is that they charge $15 per day per drum rental
after the first 30 days, so you also want to ship the drums back (which can
be done non-hazmat if they are triple rinsed to FMC procedure) as soon as
they are empty.

Each 30 gal peroxide drum comes with a 55 gallon plastic drum of deionized
water, which is an important fluid for peroxide operations.

I talked to the peroxide division of FMC a few years ago. I guess they
sold it and it is now called PeroxyChem. At the time they didn't regularly
operate their HTP plant so you had to pay to restart the production line.
Not sure if that is still the case now.

I know some people who have purchased small quantities from XL-Space
somewhat recently. I don't what his production ability is.

The real kicker with HTP is the shipping. FMC had a special conex
container and a special truck to transport it. Since it isn't a chemical
that is commonly transported (In that Concentration) there aren't really
many off the shelf solutions for shipping it. So shipping tends to cost
about as much as the peroxide if you are buying a large amount, probably
more than the peroxide if it's a small amount. You could do it yourself of
course so long as you have a hazmat shipping endorsement for whatever
method of transportation you are using.

You could always buy your own 150 lb/day plant from XL-space for $29,600
it looks like. Though I think you might also have to get permits or other
regulatory things to operate the plant.

Also I cant really think of anyone other than the British, that have done
a Kero/HTP rocket of that size.

Never heard of anybody buying from Michael. He has a big sparger mini
plant in the desert but I wonder if XL-Space is a reliable manufacturer.
Bengtsson 's HTP plant in Sweden OTOH, supplying jetpack enthusiasts in
Europe for many years never recovered after the 2010 fire.

Lastly, I know of no amateur team ever succeeding in launching a British
style kerosine/HTP bipropellant rocket. I said rocket and in the West.
Takes so many years and so much money to build all gave up. Correct me if
I'm wrong.

Just curious. I remember former Armadillo gave up on 80-90 % peroxide
as a propellant because they reported that unexpectedly, they found no
more supplier. As considerable batches were required for their tests
and launches, they had wisely decided to avoid the hassle to distill
it themselves. Realizing such a mini plant of their own for it takes
years to design from scratch and build.
Big companies "responsible care" policy prohibits selling HTP to
rocket amateurs. So where do you buy or intend to buy your HTP at
present, Robert?

One thing your going to have to be prepared for, at least with using
silver as the catalyst, in my experience no two runs are exactly the
same. There is a little bit of an art in getting a clean run and with
silver, temperature, RH and even barometric pressure can play a role
in getting a good clean run.
