Ed was just kidding. O3 can not be made in any quantity and be stored for
any length of time before soon decomposing exothermically
like a detonation. It can be stabilized with LOx but fractional
distillation will concentrate it until it detonates. So yeah Henry, it's
just a joke.
There is a youtube video of a chemist making ozone from a ozone generator
and condensing it in a LN2 or LOx cold trap, a chemist in
Australia. It scared him after he made a few grams of this purple liquid.

That gets you the worst of both worlds: it's cryo, *and* it's an
energetic monopropellant just waiting for an excuse to do a spectacular
solo performance. In the case of *clean* nitrous near room temperature,
the excuse at least has to be a good one -- the nitrous in the Scaled
Composites accident almost certainly had organic contamination -- but
ozone is less fussy. Much better if all the heats of formation are
negative until things mix in the chamber...
Oh, and you have to make it rather than buy it, because nobody in his
right mind will make it for you.
