What's AGPS update? I have never heard of this, and although my connection times aren't usually too long, it might make things better! I do often encounter the problem that even though I'm miles away from where I ended up last time I used the gps, it keeps telling me I'm there when I'm miles and miles away and have a connection.

Alice
Thanks.

Subject: [gps-talkusers] AGPS is amazing

I recently complained about my IBlue 737A+ GPS taking a long time to connect
via bluetooth to my BrailleNote PK. Times of connection varied between 2
minutes to almost 10. Ever since I do my AGPS update every 1 to 2 weeks, I
get connection times of 5 to 15 seconds. Quite a difference.
One rule of thumb. If you leave your receiver off for more than a week, it's
a good idea to update the AGPS as well.
Cheers,
Martin
