Kevin

Sorry if I'm being a little dense here, but what's the technical difference then between a route created from a replay (that you record as you go along with possible annotations which turn into waypoints) and a manual route (that you create by adding waypoints as you go along)? Is there an advantage of one over the other, or is it a case of how the route is tracked when followed?

I ask because part of my regular route from home has to avoid what the automatic route creator thinks I should do (due to poor mapping and a road that's now impassible for me due to erosion). I'd like to be able to bypass this without having to edit my routes. Not an absolute essential, it's just annoying to hear wrong information every time.

So in my situation would a route created from a replay be better?

Dennis.

Annotations can be written to GPS Replays by using SPACE with W
on the BT and READ with W on the QT. Basically, a GPS Replay must be recording, annotations can be anything including a note about a park bench with a limit of 200 characters, when running a GPS Replay these annotations will be played back indicating its annotation with a message stating so and a sound and when a GPS Replay is made into a route that contains annotatios those annotations will be included as waypoints.

Another option would be a GPS Replay with annotations. Then
that GPS Replay
can be made into a route complete with turns, waypoints and
annotations.

Thank you, Chris for answer my question.

Replay was my first time experience. But it is NOT my
preferance. I do not
like the true time.

Do you have another suggestion relate to the bus route with POI?
