Hi,

Technically there's no difference between a manual route and a route
created from a replay file.

The main thing to remember is you walk the replay once then you tell
the system to create a route from the replay. You need not worry
about stopping to add the waypoints in. Annotations are something you
can add in if you wish but they are not essential.

When the route is created from the replay the route goes where you go.
if you are traveling across a field or in the woods neither the
replay or the route created from the replay care, they go where you
go.

Hope this helps.

Chris
