I disagree - what about startups where you join two other guys in a
garage and it winds up as google? Writing is irrelevant (I *am* a
lawyer), work with people you trust. Who to trust? That comes with
experience
Er, Larry / Sergey knew each other from Stanford (correct me if I'm wrong).
If J.Random "Webhost" with a hole in the wall office comes to you on the
basis that he is a friend of a friend of a friend .. you do need to be more
careful than that.
