    Try gentoo.More stable, no need to depends on rpm/deb.Only source
packages will be installed.You can configure it like desktop,server and so
on.


I had been using for Ubuntu for a while, I had faced quite few problems in
the recent releases. I just moved to Mint few months back and I am happy
with it for the last 6 months. IMHO, Mint is quite stable than Ubuntu,
However ubuntu has the latest packages than mint.(I still use Ubuntu too)
