hi,
In recent threads there have been complaints from members that
posting according to list guidelines is difficult and time consuming.
Although this problem has been addressed umpteen times on the net,
once more wont hurt anyone. So here goes:
step one: read the post
step two: check whether anyone else has answered the post. Use
threads in your mail client to be able to check this
step three: with your mouse, highlight the paragraphs that you want
to respond to
step four: press reply - you will find the paragraphs you want to
quote are displayed in the message and all other matter has been trimmed
step five: move below each paragraph you want to reply to and press
enter to create a blank line. THERE SHOULD ALWAYS BE A BLANK LINE
BETWEEN QUOTED MATERIAL AND YOUR REPLY.
step six: type in your reply after each of the quoted paragrapns
step seven: reread everything to see if there is still material to be
trimmed
step eight: click on send
