I don't think I have a choice because the whole app is the same window class
and id. the only events that fire are FocusChangedEvent, ScreenStablizedEvent,
KeyPressedEvent, and SayHighlightedText. I make great use of hsc to click
things. I use some frames, and move too to get at info on the screen.

& that's precisely the problem w/writing scripts that have a lot of
moveTo(x, y) statements, is their resolution dependence. It's why I
avoid it like plague, unless I absolutely, positively, unequivocally
have no other choice. Jaws also definitively seems to behave better
w/some video cards than others. That, however, has nothing to do
w/what he asked, which was what resolution is jaws more stable with. &
the answer I gave is that it more depends on the hardware than it does
on Jaws. I surely never said that resolution doesn't matter.
The reason your internet worked when the video card died in your
machine is simply because Jaws was drawing its information from the
underlying web dom rather than from the osm. NVDA & System Access do
likewise, which is why they don't even have video intercept drivers.
The problem w/all that is when u get apps that don't use the
underlying objects, but rather screen attributes such as colors, etc.,
(band in a box being a good example), those screenreaders tend to fall
over in a screaming heap.
