That really don't answer the question. More like something would hear from FS.
It does matter, because scripts written in a 
differ rez will react funny if used in a rez to 
far out of there range. Jaws also does act 
differently with some cards it does better with 
low rez and others better. The faster you can 
render that graphic the faster jaws can deal with it.
i have first hand usage of this when my video 
card died. Everything except the Internet that 
used the video card wouldn't work. However, jaws 
still worked with no video card at all. i seen 
more in programs then when the card worked. Now I 
have a card that is 10 times faster and higher 
quality and jaws sees some but not all of what it did.
