does a higher or lower screen resolution matter to Jaws?  is one better or more 
stable over the other?

  Gian, sometimes, when using the Jaws cursor, graphics change
  characteristics i.e., sometimes graphics change when the mouse is
  hovered over them, & Jaws tries hard to implement/mimick that
  functionality. U might try using the invisible cursor on your graphics
  to see if that still occurs.
