If this were strictly true, then no way could a prototype
Samsung achieve Brazil E reception with only 19.9 dB of
C/N margin.

If you had the "perfect" equalizer, what you say wouldn't
hold. In an imperfect world, it will hold some times and
not other times.

It would be nice to see these long range tests done again.
