Making the time productive is quite good. That's what I would do had I the
equipment. However, I wonder just how many people are this productive in
their leisure hours. (As I write this, I can see the reflection of a TV set
in the picture next to the monitor.)

I hate watching live TV. Don't have Tivo but a=20
Dish PVR in the receiver and I'll find something=20
else to do during the first part of the show,=20
like, perhaps, respondon OpenDTV! :)
Yes, this is very common for PVR/Tivo folks to=20
do. I redeem the commercial time into one block=20
of productive time.
